Free profile and Premium

On Sugarfar, the rule is simple. Sugar Babies and Sugar Boys always chat for free. Sugar Daddies and Sugar Mamas use Premium for unlimited chat and the ability to see who visited their profile.

SugarDaters' FAQ says joining is free for any type of profile, and that Premium lets you read and send unlimited messages.

On both sites, Premium also lets you use the site without a profile photo, if you would rather stay anonymous. SugarDaters also sells SugarCubes. Sugarfar has SugarCoins, which you can use for Boost, Premium and gifts.

Subscription, payment and cancelling

On Sugarfar, you see your exact price once you have created a free profile, before you buy anything.

SugarDaters: Under its terms and conditions, the subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account settings. Its FAQ adds that you need to cancel no later than 24 hours before the subscription is due to expire. The same FAQ mentions paying by credit or debit card and by MobilePay.

Sugarfar: Premium renews automatically until you switch it off. Go to Profile → My Account → Manage Premium. Do it at least 2 hours before your period ends and you keep Premium for the rest of the time you have paid for. There is no minimum term. You can pay with cards issued in the EU, the EEA and the UK, and with Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Verification and privacy

SugarDaters: Its privacy policy describes identity verification using a face liveness check, and its homepage mentions ID-verified sugar babies. According to its FAQ, every profile text and photo is checked by hand before it is approved, and its terms say it combines human review with automated moderation, including AI.

Sugarfar: Two badges show what has been checked. "Profile photo verified" means the profile photo matches a live selfie. "ID verified" means an identity document has been checked. Profiles on Sugarfar are hidden from search engines, and your full profile is only visible to signed-in members. Private photos are only seen by the members you give access to.
